Doctors’ Suicide discussed on NPR

One of my most beloved mentors from residency took his own life. He seemed so much older to me at the time, but he was only 39 years old. On NPR’s “To the Best of Our Knowledge,” I talk about his loss, and read from the story I wrote about him, “Intensive Care.” This story, from the book Singular Intimacies, is also included in a the anthology, Writer MD. I read this story aloud at Baruch College.
